Shamanic Journey: Serpent’s Path to Embodied Wisdom
Facilitator: Mindi Staley
In this immersive session, participants are guided into the sacred wisdom of the Andean medicine wheel, focusing on the South – the path of the Serpent. Rooted in the Q’ero tradition, this direction invites us to shed old skins, release what no longer serves, and return to the wisdom of the body.
We begin with teachings and practices that include a somatic technique known as decoupling – a paired exercise that gently rewires the nervous system, helping participants shift out of fight-or-flight and into deep presence. From there, the group moves into a shamanic breathwork ceremony, supported by rhythmic drumming, where each journeyer deepens connection to their own healing wisdom. The experience closes with a guided integration meditation accompanied by music, offering space for reflection, grounding, and gentle landing.
This is a potent blend of ancestral teachings and embodied practice, offered with reverence, rhythm, and love.
